Summer Camp 2008
We have a fun, relaxing, enriching summer planned and are happy to offer the following camps:
- (New) Drama Camp will add a fun element of learning to express ourselves theatrically
- Ecology Camp is an exploration of the interdependence of life on planet Earth
- (New) Music and Art Camp (called Sing Out!) will provide opportunities to learn about ourselves musically and artistically through song, dance, and painting
- Our World of Science is exploration of various physical facts about our world
- Japanese Camp is a traditional favorite of exploring the Japanese culture
Our graduated kindergarteners are invited to join us for the first camp (Drama) of the season and our new friends who are enrolled for the fall are invited to join us beginning with the second camp (Ecology) and continuing through the end of the summer. Children aged 3 through 5 (pre-kindergarten only) are eligible for camp. It is expected that children use the toilet independently.
We have set April 20 as a deadline for registration for children currently enrolled at UMS or newly enrolled at UMS for the fall. After that date, registration will be open to eligible children from the community, and space is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To enroll for camp*, please refer to the Schedule and Fees and fill out and return the Application (for those new to UMS only!), Registration Overview, Sunscreen Authorization, and fee of $25 to UMS. Once we have received these items, we will send all campers:
- A copy of the completed Registration Overview
- Individual Registration Forms for the camps for which you have registered
- Sumer Camp Policies
- Emergency Form
